Okay! So I've used GNOME Shell =)

And guess what... I actually like it; to an extent. However, there are a few gray areas. To be honest, it is a bold, potentially powerful step by the GNOME team. However, it isn't necessarily the best step they could have taken. NO -OME Shell

I'm not saying GNOME Shell is completely terrible, but I think the fact that it won't even start on my system (and I'm not going to try to fix it) pretty much seals my view. It's a bit too early for GNOME-Shell to jump into our world. I think it should be postponed until the developers can realize the compiz is still the choice of most users, and will be the choice of future users.

I don't have anything against a new desktop, but destroying a working one, is not the way to go.
