I'm not saying GNOME Shell is completely terrible, but I think the fact that it won't even start on my system (and I'm not going to try to fix it) pretty much seals my view. It's a bit too early for GNOME-Shell to jump into our world. I think it should be postponed until the developers can realize the compiz is still the choice of most users, and will be the choice of future users.I don't have anything against a new desktop, but destroying a working one, is not the way to go.See More
